Membership Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 6, 2026 · Last Updated: August 6, 2026
The Membership Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the individual or entity enrolling in a RecoveryLink membership (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) and RECOVERYLINK LLC.
By creating an account, purchasing or renewing a membership, checking the acceptance box, or using the RecoveryLink platform or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. RecoveryLink’s Role
RecoveryLink operates a membership-based coordination and priority-access network designed to connect Members with independent contractors and service providers who may be available to perform property-related assessment, repair, mitigation, restoration, maintenance, disaster preparation, or recovery services.
RecoveryLink is a referral, communication, and coordination platform. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by RecoveryLink:
- RecoveryLink is not a general contractor, construction contractor, subcontractor, architect, engineer, insurance company, insurance adjuster, public adjuster, home warranty company, emergency-response agency, or property manager.
- RecoveryLink does not itself perform construction, repair, restoration, mitigation, inspection, engineering, remediation, or other property services.
- RecoveryLink does not employ, supervise, direct, or control the contractors participating in its network.
- RecoveryLink is not a party to the contract between a Member and a contractor.
- RecoveryLink does not guarantee that any contractor will accept a service request or arrive within a particular period.
- RecoveryLink does not guarantee the quality, price, legality, safety, timeliness, outcome, or completion of any contractor’s work.
RecoveryLink may assist with communications, request routing, status updates, contractor identification, and general coordination, but the Member remains responsible for selecting and retaining a contractor.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least eighteen years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to enroll.
When enrolling on behalf of a business, trust, association, property owner, property management company, condominium association, homeowners’ association, multifamily property, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete enrollment information and to promptly update information that changes.
3. Membership Plans
RecoveryLink may offer different membership plans, service levels, geographic coverage areas, response priorities, property limits, or benefits. Standard and premium membership must qualify as single family dwelling unit types, manufactured or modular home on its own lot, a detached house residential structure only. The property generally has its own entrance, kitchen, bathrooms, utilities, and living areas. It may be owner-occupied or rented to one household. The specific benefits and price of your plan will be shown during enrollment or described in your membership confirmation.

Membership benefits are limited to those specifically identified in the enrollment materials for the selected plan. Marketing descriptions do not expand RecoveryLink’s obligations beyond these Terms and the applicable plan description.
RecoveryLink may introduce, modify, or discontinue membership plans. Changes affecting an existing paid membership will be communicated as required by applicable law.
4. Priority Access Explained
“Priority access” means that RecoveryLink will use commercially reasonable efforts to prioritize, route, communicate, or coordinate eligible service requests in accordance with the Member’s plan level and RecoveryLink’s operational procedures.
Priority access does not mean:
- Guaranteed contractor availability;
- Guaranteed same-day or next-day service;
- Guaranteed arrival before nonmembers;
- Guaranteed acceptance of a project;
- Guaranteed completion dates;
- Guaranteed pricing;
- Guaranteed insurance coverage;
- Exclusive use of a particular contractor; or
- Emergency-response service.
Contractor availability may be severely limited following hurricanes, wildfires, floods, tornadoes, freezes, earthquakes, or other widespread events. Demand, road closures, evacuation orders, fuel shortages, utility failures, communication outages, unsafe conditions, material shortages, labor shortages, government restrictions, and infrastructure damage may delay or prevent service.
5. Service Requests
Members may submit service requests through RecoveryLink’s website, or another approved method.
You agree to provide accurate information concerning:
- The property and its location;
- The nature and apparent severity of the damage;
- Known safety hazards;
- Occupancy status; if required
- Insurance information when relevant;
- Access conditions;
- Photographs or videos;
- Contact information; and
- Other information reasonably requested by RecoveryLink or a contractor.
Submitting a service request does not create a construction contract, obligate any contractor to accept the request, or obligate RecoveryLink to locate/ select a contractor.
RecoveryLink may decline, pause, reroute, or close a request when:
- The request is outside the Member’s coverage area or plan;
- The conditions appear unsafe;
- No qualified contractor is available;
- Information provided is incomplete or inaccurate;
- The requested service is illegal or outside RecoveryLink’s network;
- The account is unpaid, suspended, or terminated; or
- RecoveryLink reasonably believes the request involves fraud, abuse, or misuse.
6. Emergencies and Immediate Hazards
RecoveryLink is not a substitute for 911, fire departments, police departments, emergency medical services, utility emergency lines, government disaster agencies, or other public emergency services.
For fire, gas leaks, electrical hazards, structural collapse, flooding involving energized electrical systems, downed power lines, medical emergencies, suspected carbon monoxide, or other immediate threats to life or safety, leave the affected area when appropriate and contact the proper emergency authority.
Members should not enter damaged structures or attempt dangerous repairs while waiting for a contractor.
7. Contractor Selection and Independent Status
Contractors participating in the RecoveryLink network are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, or representatives of RecoveryLink.
RecoveryLink may establish network eligibility standards and may collect or review information such as:
- Contractor licenses;
- Insurance certificates;
- Business registrations;
- Trade experience;
- References;
- Background information;
- Service categories; and
- Geographic coverage.
However, credentials may expire, change, be suspended, or be inaccurately reported. RecoveryLink does not warrant that its screening process will discover every issue or that a contractor remains qualified for every project.
Before authorizing work, the Member should independently verify the contractor’s current licensing, insurance, qualifications, references, pricing, scope, permits, and ability to perform the requested work.
The Member retains the sole right to accept or reject a contractor.
8. Contractor Agreements and Pricing
Any inspection, estimate, authorization, construction contract, work order, change order, warranty, payment schedule, financing arrangement, cancellation right, or other agreement for property services is solely between the Member and the selected contractor.
The Member is responsible for reviewing and approving:
- The scope of work;
- Labor and material pricing;
- Deposits;
- Payment schedules;
- Change orders;
- Permit responsibilities;
- Project schedules;
- Warranties;
- Insurance requirements;
- Lien notices;
- Cancellation rights; and
- All other contract terms.
RecoveryLink does not set contractor prices and does not guarantee that a contractor’s price is the lowest available price.
A contractor may charge emergency, mobilization, travel, inspection, after-hours, material, equipment, administrative, or other fees. All such charges must be addressed directly between the Member and contractor.
Unless RecoveryLink expressly offers a separate payment service, payments for contractor work must be made directly to the contractor and not to RecoveryLink.
9. Insurance Claims
RecoveryLink does not determine insurance coverage and does not promise that an insurer will pay for any requested or completed work.
Unless separately licensed and expressly engaged to do so, RecoveryLink and participating contractors do not act as public insurance adjusters on behalf of Members.
The Member is responsible for:
- Promptly notifying the insurer;
- Protecting the property from additional damage when safe;
- Documenting the loss;
- Understanding policy deductibles and exclusions;
- Obtaining required insurer approvals;
- Communicating with the insurer or adjuster; and
- Paying amounts not covered by insurance.
A contractor’s estimate is not a coverage determination or guarantee of insurer payment.
10. Membership Fees and Billing Authorization
You agree to pay the membership fees displayed during enrollment.
By providing a payment method, you authorize RecoveryLink and its payment processor to charge:
- The initial membership fee; (first monthly installment for standard or premium)
- Applicable taxes;
- Recurring renewal fees; if applicable
- Other charges you separately authorize.
Your membership will renew automatically for successive annual terms, billed in monthly installments, at the rate disclosed during enrollment unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
RecoveryLink will clearly disclose the recurring nature of the membership before enrollment. Renewal charges may be made using the payment method stored on your account.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. If payment cannot be processed, RecoveryLink may retry the charge and may suspend or terminate membership benefits.
11. Price Changes
RecoveryLink may change membership pricing upon advance notice required by applicable law.
Unless you cancel before the effective date stated in the notice, continued membership after the new rate takes effect constitutes authorization to charge the revised amount.
Price changes will not retroactively increase a fee already paid for a completed membership period.
12. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership through:
- Your online account at recoverylink.co
- Email to support@recoverylink.life
- Cancellation stops your membership from renewing for a new annual term. Total charges for the current term will not exceed the 12-month total stated for your plan.
- If the 12-month commitment for the current term has not yet been fulfilled at the time of cancellation, monthly installments will continue to be charged until the annual commitment is fulfilled, and membership benefits remain available through the end of that paid term.
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid membership period unless applicable law or a written RecoveryLink policy provides otherwise. Membership benefits remain available through the effective cancellation date, provided the account remains in good standing.
RecoveryLink will not require Members who enrolled online to use an unreasonably burdensome offline cancellation process.
13. Refund Policy
Except where required by law or expressly stated in a written satisfaction or promotional guarantee, membership fees are non-refundable once charged.
RecoveryLink may, in its discretion, issue a full or partial refund, credit, or extension. Providing a discretionary refund in one situation does not require RecoveryLink to provide one in another situation.
A Member’s inability to obtain a contractor for a particular request does not automatically create a right to a refund, because membership fees support network access, readiness, contractor recruitment, communications, administration, and coordination services throughout the membership period.
Nothing in this section limits nonwaivable cancellation or refund rights under applicable law.
14. No Guarantee of Service or Results
RecoveryLink is an intermediary between property owners and contractors and applies network eligibility standards as described in Section 7. RecoveryLink does not guarantee:
- That a contractor will be available;
- That a request will receive a response within a specific time;
- That repairs can begin immediately;
- That materials or equipment will be available;
- That a contractor will complete the project;
- That repairs will meet a Member’s subjective expectations;
- That insurance will cover the loss;
- That governmental permits will be issued;
- That utility services or site access will be available; or
- That a property can be restored.
Any response-time estimates are informational and are not warranties or binding deadlines.
15. Member Responsibilities
The Member agrees to:
- Maintain accurate property and contact information;
- Provide lawful and reasonably safe property access;
- Disclose known hazards;
- Keep children, occupants, visitors, and animals away from active work areas;
- Obtain owner, landlord, association, lender, insurer, or governmental approval when required;
- Review contractor documents before signing;
- Pay contractors according to the Member’s direct agreement;
- Avoid discriminatory, threatening, abusive, or unlawful conduct;
- Avoid offering false information or fraudulent claims;
- Protect account credentials; and
- Promptly report suspected unauthorized account activity.
The Member may not use RecoveryLink to solicit unlawful work, evade permits, obtain fraudulent insurance payments, or interfere with contractor relationships.
The property address must be correctly identified as it is the location where services shall be rendered. If a property owner, that is a RecoveryLink Member moves from their registered residence to a new residence, they must update their information in the membership portal within 10 calendar days. Requesting services to an address that is not correctly displayed in the RecoveryLink member database will result in Recovery Request Rejection.
16. Communications Consent
By enrolling and providing contact information, you authorize RecoveryLink to send account-related and service-related communications by email, telephone, text message, automated system, or similar technology.
These communications may include:
- Enrollment confirmations;
- Billing notices;
- Renewal notices;
- Service-request updates;
- Contractor availability notices;
- Severe-weather or disaster readiness communications;
- Account security alerts; and
- Operational notices.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing a membership and should be obtained separately where required by law.
Message and data rates may apply. You may update communication preferences through your account or by contacting RecoveryLink, although you may continue receiving essential transactional or safety communications.
17. Member Content, Photographs, and Property Information
You grant RecoveryLink a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs, videos, descriptions, documents, and other information you submit solely as reasonably necessary to:
- Evaluate and route service requests;

18. Platform Availability
RecoveryLink may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of its platform for maintenance, security, legal compliance, disasters, technical failures, or business reasons.
Online and communication systems may be interrupted by internet outages, cyberattacks, power failures, carrier problems, extreme weather, or other circumstances outside RecoveryLink’s control.
RecoveryLink is not liable for delays or losses caused by temporary platform unavailability, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Complaints Concerning Contractors
Members should promptly report contractor-related concerns to RecoveryLink at support@recoverylink.life.
RecoveryLink may:
- Request supporting documentation;
- Communicate the complaint to the contractor;
- Suspend or remove a contractor from the network;
- Assist with communication; or
- Refer the Member to licensing, insurance, law-enforcement, consumer-protection, or legal resources.
RecoveryLink is not obligated to adjudicate disputes, compel a refund, order corrective work, or pay a contractor’s obligations.
Reporting a complaint to RecoveryLink does not extend any statutory, contractual, insurance, warranty, lien, or claim deadline.
20. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECOVERYLINK’S PLATFORM, MEMBERSHIP, NETWORK, INFORMATION, AND COORDINATION SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
22. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RecoveryLink and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, judgments, damages, penalties, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of RecoveryLink;
- False or misleading information you provide;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of law;
- Your infringement of another person’s rights; or
- Conditions at your property that you knew of but failed to disclose.
This obligation does not require you to indemnify RecoveryLink for RecoveryLink’s own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot lawfully be shifted.

C. Binding Arbitration
Except for qualifying small-claims matters and requests for temporary injunctive relief, disputes will be resolved through individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable consumer rules. Arbitration will take place in the Member’s county of residence, remotely, or at another mutually agreed location.

Contractors en route to evaluate, assess, or estimate a Recovery Request must have access by commercial roadway. Hazardous conditions, broken infrastructure, flooding, downed powerlines, and/ or any other condition preventing typical road travel will delay response time.

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
RecoveryLink’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Headings are for convenience and do not limit interpretation.
